Lakewood FD To Host Tournament

The Lakewood Fire Department will host its annual golf tournament on Saturday, May 25, at South Hills Country Club. Entry forms are available at the fire department any Tuesday evening or at the Lakewood Village Hall during normal business hours. The fundraising tournament is open to the first 36 paid foursomes. Paid entry forms should be received by May 4.

St. Susan Center Open On Easter

St. Susan Center will be open on Easter Day. Meal service will be from 12:30-2 p.m., and all are welcome to attend. Regular meal service will resume on Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, please call St. Susan Center at 664-2253.

UPMC In Need Of Volunteers

UPMC Chautauqua is in need of one volunteer to work in the Gift Shop as a cashier and one volunteer to work behind the Information Desk to greet visitors and help them find their way. N. Harmony Offices Closed

NORTH HARMONY — The North Harmony Town Clerk’s Office will be closed today from 4-6 p.m. The zoning CEO’s office will be closed today from 6-8 p.m. Court will be observed for regular hours. All offices will be closed for Good Friday.

Stockton Good Friday Service

STOCKTON — The Stockton Community Church, 4554 W. Railroad Ave., Stockton, will hold a Good Friday service on Friday at 1 p.m. The church will also host its Easter worship service on Easter Sunday, April 21, at 11 a.m. The church choir will present the Easter Cantata “It Is Finished.” The public is invited to attend both services.

Blessing Of The Food On Saturday

LAKEWOOD — The will be a Blessing of the Food at Sacred Heart Church in Lakewood on Saturday at 1 p.m. An Eastern European tradition, baskets containing a sample of Easter foods are brought to church to be blessed on Holy Saturday. Everyone is welcome to attend to receive a blessing of the food that they will be sharing at Easter dinner.

MS Rap Group Meets Saturday

Is there an up-side to living with MS? Come to the Chautauqua Region Multiple Sclerosis Rap Group in the Auditorium at the Jones Hill Memorial Rehabilitation Center, First Floor, 51 Glasgow Ave., Jamestown, on Saturday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. This semi-structured support group has the goal of being both informative and fun. Snacks are provided. Those affected by the disease, including family and friends, are welcome to attend. Library To Host Story Hours Sat.
