Rodeo City Senior Citizens To Meet

GERRY — The Rodeo City Senior Citizens will meet Friday at noon for a lunch and program at the United Methodist Church hall. All those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to add to the meal and their own table service. The program will follow the lunch.

Railroaders Annual Auction Friday

The Independent Railroaders will hold its annual auction Friday at Conduit Ministries at 120 Delaware Ave., Jamestown. Parking and the entrance is on the Newland Avenue side of the building. Admission is free for buyers. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for sellers and 7 p.m. for buyers during which time the auction will begin. Tables are $10 per 8 feet or a round table for non-members. Tables for members are free. No commercial dealers are allowed. Only railroad and train related items will be sold. Auction transactions are cash only and each seller is responsible for their payments and change. To reserve a table or for more information, contact Timothy Anderson at 487-0730.

Marco Polo Club Spaghetti Dinner

The Marco Polo Club, 1027 E. Second St., Jamestown, will host a spaghetti dinner Saturday from 4-7 p.m. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children.

Deputy Seely Fundraiser Sat.

CELORON — A fundraiser for the late Deputy Michael Seeley will be held Saturday, April 13, at the Celoron Legion, 26 Jackson Ave., from 4-8 p.m. with a live band immediately following the event. The fundraiser will include a 300 Club drawing, Chinese Auction and indoor Cornhole tournament. Tickets are $20 and include dinner for two and drinks during the event. Seeley died in February 2018 following a six-month battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He was a deputy with the Sheriff’s Office, an EMT, county dispatcher and volunteer firefighter. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the memorial scholarship fund that has been established in Seeley’s name through the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation and to assist local families in need. Donations can be made directly to the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation in Seeley’s name.

Mayville Easter Egg Hunt Sunday

MAYVILLE — The Mayville Fire Department will sponsor its annual Easter Egg Hunt at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lakeside Park in Mayville. Divisions include ages 4 and under, 5 to 8 years and 9 and over. There will be Easter eggs, candy, special prizes, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny and refreshments.

Sherman 5-Hours Course Set

SHERMAN — A five-hour, pre-licensing course will be held May 18 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Sherman Central School. The cost is $25, and to register call 761-4808. When registering, have permit on hand. Enter through “door A from the visitor parking lot. As registration is limited, call by May 17 to cancel if unable to attend.

Randolph Budget Meeting April 16

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Central School Board will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, April 16, at 7:15 a.m., to vote on the BOCES budget and the BOCES Board of Education.
