MS Rap Group To Meet Saturdays

Is there an up-side to living with Multiple Sclerosis? Come to the Chautauqua Region MS Rap Group in the Auditorium at the Jones Hill Memorial Rehabilitation Center, First Floor, 51 Glasgow Ave., Jamestown, on the third Saturday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. This semi-structured support group has the goal of being both informative and fun. Snacks are provided. Those affected by the disease, including family and friends, are welcome to attend. Legion Hosting Spaghetti Dinner

FLUVANNA — The American Legion ILS Post 149, 364 Fluvanna Ave., Jamestown, will host a spaghetti fundraiser Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. Joe Conti will be preparing the spaghetti. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children. The public is welcome to attend.

Photography Club Works On Display

The Jamestown Audubon Society Nature Photography Club will be displaying members’ photos at the Falconer Public Library for the months of March and April. The photo display will feature scenes depicting the natural world around us. The Photo Club members are thrilled to have this opportunity to display their work.

St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast Sat.

The Busti Republican Committee will sponsor its annual St. Patrick’s Day pancake breakfast from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Alfie’s Restaurant, 986 Fairmount Ave., West Ellicott. The breakfast is an opportunity to speak with candidates and participate in discussions concerning the upcoming elections this year. Breakfast will include orange juice, scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes and syrup and coffee. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.

Service Providers Answer Questions

On Monday, March 18, six Chautauqua County service providers will be available to answer questions and assist consumers at the Westfield Community Kitchen luncheon, held at the Westfield United Methodist Church, 101 E. Main St., Westfield, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those participating include Grace McKenzie from Catholic Charities to discuss the WIC program, Sandy Harle from Chautauqua Palliative and Hospice Care, Candy Hess from Willcare to explain home health services Willcare has to offer, Karen Lucks of the Chautauqua Adult Day Services program, Lauren Gill from the WNY Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and Judy Wroda representing the No Wrong Door / NY Connects program.

Support Group To Meet March 20

MAYVILLE — An Alzheimer’s Association of Western New York caregiver support group meeting will be held at 10 a.m. March 20 at the Mayville Library, 92 South St., Mayville. Respite services or pre-registration are available by calling 800-272-3900. Pre-registration is encouraged to ensure there are enough materials and to relay any changes to the schedules. Information about dementia and caregiver resources are available through the Chautauqua County Office for the Aging at 753-4582.
