Aux Board To Meet Thursday

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Rod and Gun Auxiliary Board will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The auxiliary will resume monthly meetings on Monday, March 11, at 7 p.m. New members are welcome to attend the meeting, featuring the Epiphany Clothing Party and Fashion Show presented by Jamie Richir. Greeters for the evening will be Sandy Carlson and Coralyn Boehler. Helpers are Pennie Harvey and Helen Johnson. Refreshments will be served by Dottie Enlow, Nancy Rasmussen and Sharon Purdy.

Budget Classes To Be Offered

The Salvation Army of Jamestown hosts ongoing budgeting classes. The classes, which are free and open to the public, include discussions of how to make a budget, how to prioritize when there is not enough money to go around and how to stretch food dollars while eating healthy. Support Group Meeting March 12

An Alzheimer’s Association of Western New York caregiver support group meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, at the North County Dine-N-Dish. Restaurant locations change monthly. Gerry Seniors Lunch Friday

GERRY — The Rodeo City Senior Citizens will meet Friday, promptly at noon, for a luncheon and program at the United Methodist Church hall. All those attending are asked to bring a dish of food to add to the meal and their own table service. The program will follow the luncheon.

Music Facility Opening At JCC

Jamestown Community College will celebrate the opening of its renovated and enhanced music facility during a noontime program on Wednesday, March 13. The event, free and open to the public, will be held in the music wing located on the first floor of Sheldon Center. Tours of studios and classrooms, as well as live music performances, will be featured during the program.

Adult Story Hour At Area Library

FLUVANNA — The Fluvanna Free Library will begin holding adult story hour on Thursdays, beginning this week at 4 p.m., including crafts, activities and stories. The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required but are helpful. The Fluvanna Free Library is located at 3532 Fluvanna Ave. Ext., Fluvanna. 2019 Russian Dinner Planned

FALCONER — The 2019 Russian Dinner will take place Friday, March 23, at 6 p.m. at Levant Wesleyan Church in Falconer. The fundraiser dinner theme is “Russian Cities — Russian Foods” and will include authentic foods from various regions. Proceeds will assist with travel expenses for the Russian teachers participating in the Perm Mission Network exchange. Tickets are $15 in advance, available at the church office, or $18 at the door.
