Mitrano To Hold Rally Thursday

Tracy Mitrano, Democratic candidate for the 23rd Congressional district, will hold a rally in Jamestown on Saturday at the IBEW Local 106 headquarters, 322 James Ave., from 6-8 p.m. The rally will feature Judy Einach, candidate for New York State Assembly, and Dave Wilkinson, president of the Jamestown Area Labor Council.

Bemus Point BOE To Meet Monday

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point School Board will meet on Monday in the Maple Grove Middle-High School, Dutch Hollow Road, Bemus Point.

Geneology Class Set For Thursday

FREWSBURG — The Myers Memorial Library in Frewsburg will be hosting free genealogy classes on Thursday and Nov. 15 from 6-8 p.m. These classes are opened to the beginner and advance. This is opened for anyone ages 18 and up. The library is located at 6 Falconer St., Frewsburg. To register, call 569-5515 or stop in. Please inform if you are bringing your own device or need to use a computer. These classes include using Ancestry Library Edition, Find A Grave, Family Search and Google.

Ellington Crafters To Meet Monday

ELLINGTON — The Ellington Quilters and Crafters will meet Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ellington Farman Library. All adults are invited to come, work on their project, or just to visit. The group meets the first and third Mondays of each month. The library is located in the former Lock, Stock and Barrel on the Town Square in Ellington, 760 Thorton Road. The library is handicap accessible. For more information, call the library at 287-2945. Library hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday and closed Friday and Sunday.

Set For Monday

BROCTON — The Parent Network of Western New York will host Understanding The Individualized Education Program (IEP) Process from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Ahira Hall Memorial Library, 37 W. Main St., Brocton. Those attending will learn more about the development of the IEP, parents’ role in the process and how to be an active participant in the creation of the IEP. Dinner To Be Held

KENNEDY — The Kennedy Friends of the Library Election day dinner will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Kennedy United Methodists Church fellowship hall. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Those under the age of 3 and over the age of 90 are admitted free.

Special Ed Class Set For Tuesday

SILVER CREEK — The Parent Network of Western New York will host Understanding Special Education from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the auditorium of Silver Creek High School, 1 Dickinson St. The session will give an overview of the special education process, the steps parents should take, what to expect at meetings of the Committee on Special Education (CSE) and Preschool (CPSE). There is no charge to attend and light refreshments will be served.
