Ellicott To Hold Leaf Cleanup
The town of Ellicott will begin leaf pickup Monday. Residents are asked to rake leaves to the edge of the road, do not mix sticks or brush with the leaves, and do not fill ditches or block catch basin grates to allow stormwater to flow.
South Center Sewer To Meet
CELORON — The South and Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts administrative board will meet at noon Tuesday in the Water Pollution Control Facility board room. The public is welcome to attend.
JPS Board To Meet Tuesday
The Jamestown Public Schools Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the board room at 197 Martin Road, Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.
UMC To Host Food Drive
ASHVILLE — The Food Bank of Western New York Mobile Pantry Truck from Buffalo will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church on Tuesday. Open hours are 9:30 a.m. to noon and 3 to 5 p.m. The truck brings fresh produce and some staple items. To receive free food, proof of address from the following ZIP codes is required: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and anyone who lives in the town of Busti. Incubator Sets Networking Lunch
DUNKIRK — The Fredonia Technology Incubator is hosting a networking luncheon for the Northern Chautauqua Young Professionals from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the incubator. The luncheon is sponsored by the incubator and is free and open to all young professionals and entrepreneurs. The Fredonia Technology Incubator is located at 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk. The meeting will consist of establishing recurring meetings, a board structure and also discuss how the group can help the community grow stronger.
Craft Time Set For Wednesday
KENNEDY — Community Craft Time at Kennedy First United Methodist Church will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon in the church fellowship room. Those attending will work on individual projects.
