Jammers Honored, Receive Key To City Wednesday
Fresh off their Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League Championship Series victory over Amsterdam on Wednesday night, the Jamestown Jammers, including staff and players, were honored Thursday afternoon at City Hall by Mayor Sam Teresi, middle. A proclamation was read and Manager Anthony Barone, right, received a key to the city. Joining him from the team, which defeated the Mohawks, 8-6, in the third and deciding game, were assistant coach Hayden Carter, left, and players Austin Parent and Ryan Boyer. Boyer was named the Most Outstanding Player of the PGCBL Championship Series.
