Wedding
On June 18, 2022, Hannah Grace Finson and Harrison Granger pledged their vows at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 134 Division Ave., Grand Rapids, Mich., with Pastor Mark Kring serving as officiant.
The organist was Brendan Hollins and the harpist Professor Kristin Szandzik. The parents of the bride are John and Karen Finson. Todd and Gillian Granger are the parents of the groom. Laurel Joy Finson was the maid of honor and August Granger, the best man. Bridesmaids were Kristy Woodfield, Molly Woodfield, Claire Granger, Emma Granger and Anna Alden. Groomsmen were Mathew Jacobson, Jonathan Dykstra, Paul Sawyer, Carson Wirebaugh and Dawson Block. Ushers were Davis Tebben and Michael Moldenhauer. The grandparents are the late Andrew Yesny, Betty Yesny, Jerry and Lynne Granger and James and Patricia Lipsey. The bride wore a lace Oleg Cassini traditional gown with cathedral length veil and headpiece with a lily of the valley floral bouquet. Hymns included The Church’s One Foundation and Be Thou My Vision. The reception was in The Ballroom at McKay in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The couple met their first year of college and had a two-year engagement. The bride graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Liberty University and is attending the Jacobs School of Medicine at the University of Buffalo, in August 2022. The groom also graduated summa cum laude from Liberty University with a degree in Computer Science -Software Engineering. The groom is employed as an IT development analyst for Genworth.
The couple honeymooned in Scotland for two weeks and is now living downtown Buffalo.
