MR. AND MRS. MAWUNYO ‘‘ELIE’’ YAWO NENONENE

Sonja Christine Johnson and Mawunyo ”Elie” Yawo Nenonene exchanged wedding vows on July 14, 2018, at First Baptist Church, Mayville, N.Y. Pastor Dan Prewitt performed the ceremony assisted by Pastor Godfrey and Launa Watson, Pastor Raymond Mitchell and Dr. Gary E. Newhart.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Cheryl Johnson of Maple Springs, N.Y., and the granddaughter of Roger and Catherine Lundell of Jamestown, N.Y., and the late Robert and Mabel Johnson. Her husband is the son of the late Komla Nenonene and Abra Dokoe of Togo, West Africa.

The bride is employed as the finance manger at International Gospel Missions as well owning a CPA practice. Her husband is a pastor and president of MEDiC-Togo.

They are living in Rochester, N.Y.
