Sandra I. Enriquez and Andrew R. Gustafson exchanged wedding vows on Sept. 24, 2016, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, El Paso, Texas. Friar Tobias Macias performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Sandra L. and Javier Enriquez of El Paso, Texas. Her husband is the son of Kim and Jeff Gustafson of Jamestown, N.Y.

Adrianna Quintanilla was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Harris, Stephanie Parham and Katelyn Gustafson, sister of the groom.

Best man was Jason Scott. Groomsmen were Christopher Johnson, John Huntington and Francisco Enriquez, brother of the bride.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Montwood High School in El Paso, Texas, a 2009 and 2011 graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso and a 2016 graduate of the University of Houston, where she earned her PhD in history. She is an assistant professor of history at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Her husband is a 2005 graduate of Jamestown High School, a 2007 graduate of Jamestown Community College, a 2009 graduate of SUNY Geneseo, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Houston. He is the curator of interpretation at the Johnson County Museum, in Overland Park, Kan.

The couple plans to honeymoon in Lisbon, Portugal.

They are living in Kansas City, Mo.
