MR. AND MRS. JASON RODERICK SCOTT

Nichole Christine Rodriguez and Jason Roderick Scott exchanged wedding vows on Feb. 17, 2017, on the beach at the Iberostar Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Christopher Johnson performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Julie and Nicholas Rodriguez of Jamestown, N.Y., and the granddaughter of Miriam and the late Nicholas Rodriguez , and the late Ethel and G. LeRoy Anderson. Her husband is the son of the late Sandra and Roderick Scott, and the grandson of the late Mildred and Hugh Scott, and the late Vera and Albert Traniello.

Dominick Rodriguez, brother of the bride, was the man of honor. Bridesmaids were Casey Bouch, Christina Soave and Emily Flaskerud.

Best men were Christopher Johnson and Andrew Gustafson. Groomsman was Kevin Penner. Groomsmaid was Michelle Marcellino, sister of the groom.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree from Utica College. She is employed by the United States Postal Service in Washington, D.C. Her husband holds a doctoral degree from North Carolina State University. He is employed by Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Md.

They are living in Silver Spring, Md.
