Knopp — Davis

Emily L. Davis and Cortland J. Knopp exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 15, 2016, at Bemus Point United Methodist Church. Pastor Cameron Lienhart performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Carolyn Barnes of BPUMC, pianist and Justin Joyner and Kait Boardman. Readers were Ann Sheldon, aunt of the bride, Rick Mathews, uncle of the groom and Linda Perry.

The bride is the daughter of John and Karen Davis of Frewsburg, N.Y., and the grandaughter of Reinold and Marcia Nelson of Frewsburg and Edward Davis and the late Nyla Davis. Her husband is the son of James and Polly Knopp of Westfield, N.Y., and the grandson of the late Dick Mathews and Dorothy Draggett and the late Von and Doris Knopp.

The bride wore an Ivory a-line lace over satin dress adorned with intricate beaded detail and a chapel train.

Megan Davis, sister of the bride was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelsey Nelson and Bethany Nelson, cousins of the bride, Kari Knopp, cousin of the groom, Emily Holt and Katie Castro. The flower girl was Nyla Davis, cousin of the bride.

Best man was William Barber. Groomsmen were Kenton Knopp, cousin of the groom, Brian Davis, brother of the bride, Chris Mansfield, Steve Buchanan and Christian Perry. The ring bearer was Griffin Knopp, cousin of the groom.

Master and Mistress of ceremonies were Kevin and Katie Darling, cousins of the bride.

The bride is a 2012 graduate of Jamestown Business College. She is employed as the insurance specialist at Reed Eye Associates. Her husband is a 2016 graduate of University at Buffalo with a Master of Architecture. He is employed as an architectural designer at PLAN Architectural Studio.

They honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

They are living in Rochester, N.Y.
