Roetzer — Sorenson
Megan Elizabeth Sorenson and Mark Dennis Roetzer Jr. exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 8, 2016, at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History, Jamestown N.Y. The Rev. Daniel Nagle performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Ryan Melquist, guitarist. Readers were Kevin Sixbey and Jennifer Tordy.
The bride is the daughter of Mickey Sorenson of Jamestown, N.Y., and Nannette Doolittle of Westfield, N.Y. Her husband is the son of Mark and Debra Roetzer of Bliss, N.Y.
Rebecca Van Tassel, sister of the bride and Stefanie Roetzer, sister of the groom were witnesses.
The bride attended Jamestown High School in Jamestown, N.Y., and is a graduate of Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, N.Y., with a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature. She is employed as associate director of the annual fund and communications manager for the Chautauqua Foundation at Chautauqua Institution, Chautauqua, N.Y. Her husband attended Akron Central High School in Akron, N.Y., and is a graduate of SUNYIT in Utica, N.Y., with a bachelor’s degree and professional engineering license in civil engineering. He is employed as assistant civil engineer for the City of Jamestown’s Department of Public Works, Jamestown, N.Y.
They honeymooned in Croatia
They are living in Jamestown, N.Y.
