Cole — Pierce

Catherine Walters Pierce and Robert J. Cole exchanged wedding vows on July 30 2016, at the Stockton Community Church. The Rev. Richard Hamilton performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Johanna Snell, pianist, Sharon Frudd, soloist and Addie Lexow, daughter of the bride, soloist. The bride was escorted by her son, Gerry Pierce Jr. Lighting of candles were done by Cindy Pierce and Addie Lexow, both daughters of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of the late Paul and Virginia Walters. Her husband is the son of Jack H. and Eunice M. Cole Sr.

Olive Mae Becker was maid of honor. Flower girl was Jalessa Thompson, great-granddaughter of the bride.

The bride wore an ankle length Ivory lace dress.

Best man was Fred Cole, brother of the groom. Ushers were Aaron and Felix Pierce, both grandsons of the bride, Aaron Burnett and Chuck Kelley, both nephews of the bride. Ring bearer was DeAndrae Holland, great-great-grandson of the bride.

Mistress of ceremonies was Sharon Frudd.

The bride attended Cassadaga Valley Central School, Fredonia State College and graduated with a registered nursing degree from Jamestown Community College. She is a retired nurse. A veteran of the U.S. Army, her husband is a 1957 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School. He had been employed by Dahlstron Mfg. Co, and retired from Larson Metal.

They honeymooned in Kinzua Country, Allegany State Park and the Odosagih Bible Conference.

They are living in Stockton, N.Y.
