The Chautauqua County Office for Aging Services is celebrating its 50th anniversary during May’s Older Americans Month. The anniversary also gives us the opportunity to honor the conty’s older adult community that we have the privilege to serve.

This year the OAM’s theme is “Aging Unbound”, which offers the opportunity to explore diverse aging experiences and discuss how communities can combat stereotypes and ageism discrimination. Our communities only benefit when older adults remain engaged, independent, and included.

Our annual social will be a celebration including a catered lunch, special guest speakers, basket raffles, vendor tables with information, entertainment, centerpiece raffles, and a lot of fun!

This year our annual social will be held in two locations for your convenience: Wednesday, May 3, at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Celoron and also at a North County venue to be determined with a tentative date of Wednesday, May 10. We are asking $10 per ticket.
