North Harmony Senior Citizens To Meet Today

The next meeting of the North Harmony Senior Citizens will take place today at 5 p.m. at the club center. Members are asked to bring a dish or dessert to pass.

The group met Aug. 19 and featured a chicken barbecue prepared by the Mayville VFW. Members and guests numbered seventy-three. Birthday celebrants were Bonnie Johnson, Mary Pratt, Eleanor King and John and Sue Whitman. The wedding anniversaries of Lloyd and Regina Weatherbee and Clare and Bev Crawford.

The dinner hosts for the evening were: Helen Johnson, Loretta and Steve Saulsgiver and Anita and Earl Ferry. Joni Blackman, David and Roxanne Ayers, Judy Elk, Shirley Sedat, Chris Sheets, Jay Parker and Dan and Kathy Kelly were guests.

Joni Blackman, from the Jamestown Gazette, gave a description of their publication and its area of distribution.

Minutes for the May and June meetings and the Financial report for July were presented and approved by the members.

Ferry thanked Juanita Holthouse for taking reservations for the chicken barbeque, Fanchon Adams for work done on the Memorial Garden and Don Hook for refurbishing the North Harmony Senior sign at the center building.
