Washington Middle School students are learning a new way to deal with behavior challenges with the help of Assistant Principal Kate Benson. Students who find themselves having challenges are working after school through Google Classroom to complete an individualized assignment created by Benson. On a recent Friday night at Bush Elementary School, you might have seen ghosts, dinosaurs, Mary Poppins, the entire cast of the Wizard of Oz or candy men roaming the parking lot handing out, or looking for treats. Thanks to the Bush PTO, children and their families enjoyed a “Trunk or Treat” event. PTO members and teachers decorated 16 car trunks – everything from The Wizard of Oz to Star Wars to Buffalo Bills.
