Bush Elementary School students Oscar Allen, Nevaeh Warren, Jaziah Warrior and Sofia Avila-Melendez show off the school’s “Popcorn Machine,” which was created to engage the entire school in promoting attendance. Each grade level receives a popcorn ball for each school day with 95% or higher attendance rate from the previous day. A different student from each grade is invited to join Principal Dan Bracey in placing a ball in the “popcorn machine.”
