Seneca Allegany Adds Scotty McCreery, Crystal Cayle To Entertainment Lineup
SALAMANCA – The list of top-notch performers to have performed at the Seneca Allegany Resort and Casino during 2016 continues to grow, with upcoming acts scheduled through November.
The Salamanca casino announced last week that Scotty McCreery and Crystal Gayle – both strongly rooted in country music – will perform at the Seneca Allegany Events Center on Saturday, Nov. 5, and Saturday, Nov. 19, respectively; with each concert beginning at 7 p.m.
Having first entered the national spotlight as the winner of the 10th season of “American Idol” in 2011, McCreery has since established a successful solo country music career all his own. He immediately became a force on the country charts with his debut album “Clear As Day,” which included Top 20 hits like “I Love You This Big” and “The Trouble With Girls.”
He released a Christmas album in 2012 and a second studio album, “See You Tonight” in 2013. His latest effort is his first book, “Go Big or Go Home: The Journey Toward the Dream.”
Best known for her 1977 country-pop crossover hit song, “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue,” Gayle had 20 No. 1 country hits during the 1970s and ’80s; with six albums certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. She became the first female artist in country music history to reach platinum sales with her 1977 album “We Must Believe in Magic.”
Tickets to both concerts start at $25.
These upcoming performances come in addition to other, previously announced concerts in September and October. Also scheduled to appear at the Seneca Allegany Events Center are: Willie Nelson and Friends on Sunday, Sept. 4, at 7 p.m.; a Neil Diamond tribute act “Sweet Caroline” on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m.; Paul Rodriquez on Friday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m.; Trace Adkins on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m.; two performances by Larry the Cable Guy on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.; and a Christmas concert by the Coasters on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m.
