Dr. Brian and Barbara Miller of Augusta, Georgia, announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Ann Jackson, to Christopher King.

Ms. Jackson is a graduate of Jamestown High School and Florida Atlantic University and is currently an English teacher in private education as well as for a Major League Baseball team. She is the granddaughter of the late Elizabeth Ann LaVoy.

King is the son of Scriven and Catherine King of Sarasota, Fla.

A winter wedding is planned.
