Katherine Atkins William Doxey III

Katherine Atkins and William Doxey III of Tavernier, Fla., together with their families announce their engagement.

Atkins is the daughter of Gregory and Susan Atkins of Greer, S.C., formerly of Jamestown. Doxey is the son of Lyndall Doxey of Carrollton, Ga., and the late Dr. William Doxey II.

Doxey is a graduate of Brenau University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and a Master of Business Administration. He is also an alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and is employed as Vice President/Commercial Lender at SouthState Bank in Key Largo, Fla. Atkins is a Frewsburg Central School graduate and received her BA degree from Mercyhurst University. She is Marketing and Communications Manager for the Key West International Airport.

A private ceremony is planned for Aug. 18, 2023, near their home in the Florida Keys.
