Mike and Patti Ventura of Jamestown announce the engagement of their daughter, Samantha Jane of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, to Dillon Jacob Sedar, also of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, He is the son of Darrell and Stephanie Sedar of LaGrange, Ohio.

Miss Ventura is a 2012 graduate of Jamestown High School, 2014 graduate of Jamestown Community College and a 2017 graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of the Arts in art education. She is employed as an art teacher at Milkovich Middle School in Maple Heights, Ohio.

Her fiance is a 2009 graduate of Keystone High School in LaGrange, Ohio, a 2013 and 2017 graduate of Kent State University with a Master of the Arts in art education. He is employed as an art teacher at Tallmadge Elementary School in Tallmadge, Ohio.

A July 2021 wedding is planned.
