LAUREL PETERSON JOE HASEMEYER

Laurel Peterson and Joe Hasemeyer of Folson, La., announce their engagement. Miss Peterson is the daughter of John and Jennifer Gagnon Peterson of Hiwassee, Va., and Margie Peterson of Frewsburg, N.Y. She is the granddaughter of Terri Cuoco and Gary and Myra Peterson, all of Jamestown, N.Y., and Pat Songster of Frewsburg, N.Y. Her fiance is the son of Gary Hasemeyer of Huntsville, Ala., and Deborah Buch of Charlotte, N.C.

Miss Peterson is a 2017 graduate of Virginia Tech where she earned a bachelor’s degree in forestry. She is employed by International Paper. Her fiance is a 2014 graduate of the University of Alabama where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is employed as a crocodilian biologist in Louisiana,
