Bruce L. and Gayle M. Gardner of Kennedy, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlyn Marie, to Matthew John Capriotto, the son of Carm and Ann Capriotto of Springville, N.Y.

Miss Gardner earned a bachelor of arts degree from the State University at Fredonia and her masters of secondary education from Buffalo State. She is employed by Tonawanda City Schools. Her fiance is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton where he received his bachelor’s degree and Canisius College where he received his master’s degree. He is employed by The Stanley G. Falk School of Buffalo, N.Y.
