Paul and Susan Mathers of Cassadaga, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassandra, to Travis Betourney, the son of Keith and Kimberly Betourney of Bridport, Vt. Miss Mathers is the granddaughter of the late Charles and Marjorie Zink, and Lillian Mathers of Cassadaga, N.Y., and the late Ralph Mathers. Her fiance is the grandson of Reginald and Nancy Betourney of Salisbury, Vt., and Roger and Dale Young of Orwell, Vt.

Miss Mathers is a 2008 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in 2012 from Nazareth College, and is pursing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her fiance is a 2008 graduate of Middlebury Union High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 2012 from Norwich University. He is employed at Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. as an engineering standards coordinator.

A summer or fall 2017 wedding is planned.
