Wendy Abbey of Silver Creek, N.Y., and Randy Abbey of Leon, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa to Michael Wisniewski Jr., the son of Michael Wisniewski of Buffalo, N.Y., and Denise Wisniewski of Irving, N.Y.

Miss Abbey is a graduate of the licensed practical nursing program and is pursuing a degree as a nurse practitioner. She is employed by Tri-County Family Medicine. Her fiance is a employed by Beauty Pools, and is pursuing his own business.
