Several Move On In Talent Contest

Chautauqua’s Got Talent, completed the second night of the five- night competition, Monday.

The 11th season of Chautauqua’s Got Talent at The Spire Theater began March 2 at 7 p.m. with 25 qualifying contestants with a diverse group of singers, instrumentalists, dancers, percussionists, and visual entertainment. Each contestant was given 90 seconds to perform to earn the audience vote to advance to the next round of the competition. Two were eliminated leaving 23 contestants to compete for the second night of the competition. They were again given 90 seconds, and after the audience submitted their digital votes, the following contestants were selected to move on to the third night of the contest. The following contestants will be advancing to week three and will be given the chance to continue competing to qualify for the semi-finals: Trenton Shutters, Maria Battaglia, Aaliyah Rivera, Natalie Milliman, Harmony Vega, Miranda Wilcox, Aleah Loveless, Kayle Dean, Ayri Brady, Michael Johnson, Ukuladies, Elizabeth Park, Gia Hairston, Amanda Lynn Barton, Colten and AJ, Monica Buck, Benjamin Ernewein, Danelle Donelson, and Gracelyn Kohler.

The contest runs for three more Mondays in March at 7 p.m.. Tickets are $8 presale at inspirejamestown.com or $10 at the door. Concessions will be available. The audience is given a unique code as their ticket to electronically vote for their favorite performers at the culmination of the show each night. Chautauqua’s Got Talent is also on Facebook.
