Chautauqua’s Got Talent Contest Begins Season

Performing artists took to the stage at The Spire Theater on Monday to compete in Chautauqua’s Got Talent contest.

The 11th season began with 25 qualifying contestants which included singers, instrumentalists, dancers, percussionists, and visual entertainment. Each contestant was given 90 seconds to perform to earn the audience vote to advance to the next round of the competition. Twenty-three contestants will be advancing to week two and will be given the chance to showcase their talents once again in the audience selected competition.

Contestants advancing are Trenton Shutters, Maria Battaglia, Aaliyah Rivera, Natalie Milliman, Harmony Vega, Miranda Wilcox, Aleah Loveless, Kayle Dean, Ayri Brady, Michael Johnson, Ukuladies, Elizabeth Park, Gia Hairston, Siera Allison, Amanda Lynn Barton, Lil Drummer Boyz, Christine E. Carter, Monica Buck, Benjamin Ernewein, Karle Christoph, Danelle Donelson, Gracelyn Kohler, Harmony Dillingham

The contest runs for four more weeks of March at The Spire Theater in Jamestown, Mondays at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 presale at inspirejamestown.com or $10 at the door. Concessions will be available.

The audience is given a unique code as their ticket to electronically vote for their favorite performers at the culmination of the show each night.
