Frozen Jr. To Be Performed At Little Theatre

Disney’s Frozen Jr., is playing at the Lucille Ball Little Theatre of Jamestown today through Sunday. The 60-minute musical, designed for middle school-aged performers, is based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Broadway adaptation. The Jr. Guilder’s production contains a cast of more than 50 children from the surrounding community.

“We are so thrilled to have over 50 children from around the local community on our stage. They have worked so hard, and have really put together an incredible show, that they just can’t wait to share with all of you,” said Director Helen Merrill.

The fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation is of the top-grossing animated film of all time. Join Anna, Elsa, and other characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love.

Adapted for young performers, the musical includes Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production.

Performances are Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 1p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are limited to 250 per performance.
