Five Eliminated From Talent Show

Chautauqua’s Got Talent completed week three of the five week competition.

The 10th season of Chautauqua’s Got Talent, at The Spire Theater, began Monday evening, March 4 at 7 p.m. with a showing of 31 contestants, ranging in age from 9 to 78 with a diverse group of singers, instrumentalists, dancers and comedy. Six contestants were eliminated in the first round. The performances for week two showcased 25 contestants who were allotted 90 second performances to earn the audience vote to advance to round three of the competition, and five were eliminated.

The following contestants, will be advancing to the semifinals next Monday night to compete for a place in the finals for a $1,000 cash prize and a recording session with Lost Recording Studio.

The audience voted to keep the following contestants in the competition: Quinten Jackson, Reiley Kolstee, Todd Wagner, Tommy Johnson, Kayle Dean, Kayla Malika, Amanda Forbes, Miranda Wilcox, Haylee Coulter, Danelle Donelson, Ayri Brady, Trenton Shuttters, Aaron and Boaz Mecham, Julie Rhoades, Taylor Beckwith, and Emma Lewis.

The contest runs for two more weeks at The Spire Theater in Jamestown, Mondays at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 presale at inspirejamestown.com or $11 at the door. Concessions will be available. The audience is given a ballot as their ticket to vote for their favorite performers.
