6 Eliminated From Chautauqua’s Got Talent

The 10th season of Chautauqua’s Got Talent, at The Spire Theater, began Monday with a showing of 31 contestants, ranging in age from nine to 78 with a diverse group of singers, instrumentalists, dancers and comedians.

Each contestant was given 1 minute to perform to earn the audience members’ vote to advance to the next round of the competition. Six contestants were eliminated in the first round.

The following contestants, in no particular order, will be advancing to week two in the competition and will be given 90 seconds to showcase their talents in the audience selected competition: Quinten Jackson, Miranda Wilcox, Tommy Johnson, Ayri Brady, Aaron and Boaz Mecham, Julie Rhoades, Reiley Kolstee, Haylee Coulter, Gracelyn Kohler, Danelle Donelson, Kayla Malika, Karle Christoph,Todd Wagner, Emma Lewis, Katie Jackson, Kings Express, Monica Buck, Donovan Gomez, Anthony Morelli, Trenton Shutters, Jeana and Jesse Wolf, Amanda Forbes, Kayle Dean, Danielle Durstine, Taylor Beckwith.

The contest runs for four more weeks at The Spire Theater in Jamestown, Mondays at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 presale at www.inspirejamestown.com or $11 at the door. Concessions will be available.

The audience is given a ballot as their ticket to vote for their favorite performers. Chautauqua’s Got Talent is also on Facebook.
