10 Finalists Named In Talent Show

Chautauqua’s Got Talent, presented by InSpire Jamestown, completed week four, the semi-finals, in the five-week competition.

The 10th season of Chautauqua’s Got Talent, at The Spire Theater, began Monday, March 4th with 31 contestants, from nine to 78 with a diverse group of singers, instrumentalists, dancers and comedy. After four weeks, the group has been narrowed down to 10 finalists.

The following contestants will be advancing to the finals Monday, April 1, to compete for a $1,000 cash prize and a recording session with Lost Recording Studio. The audience voted and the following performers have been selected.

¯ Kayle Dean a 15-year-old vocalist who plays guitar, piano, and drums from Lakewood

¯ Reiley Kolstee a 13-year-old vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from Jamestown

¯ Tommy Johnson, a 78-year-old pianist and entertainer from Erie, Pa.

¯ Aaron and Boaz Mecham are 13-year-old twin musicians and dancers, playing violin duos and piano, from Jamestown

¯Ayri Brady, a 14-year-old singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist from Jamestown

¯ Todd Wagner, a 41-year old-vocalist and theater director from Jamestown

¯ Kayla Malika, a 23-year-old singer, rapper, and dancer from Jamestown

¯ Taylor Beckwith, a 17-year-old singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Clymer

¯ Miranda Wilcox, a 13 year old singer who plays piano and guitar from Falconer

¯ Trenton Shuttters, a 15-year-old vocalist from Lakewood

The finale of the contest will feature the 10 finalists in the first half and the winner will be announced at the end of the show. During the second half, performances from former winners and other special guests will take the stage while the audience votes are tallied.

The show takes place at The Spire Theater in Jamestown, Monday at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for $10 presale at inspirejamestown.com or $11 at the door. Concessions will be available. Audience members given a ballot as their ticket to vote for their favorite performers.
