Wits ‘N Giggles Will Be Held Saturday At Arena

Kirk Bogos

Homer
Shadowheart

Wits ‘n Giggles Stand-Up Comedy will be held at the Northwest Arena Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The third show of the season features headliner Kirk Bogos and features Homer Shadowheart and host Casey Love.

Shadowheart is an American Indian comedian from Cincinnati. Shadowheart once famously said, “Remember the Trail of Tears? Well get ready for the trail of laughs!”

He has been performing for more than eight years and is often compared to Christopher Titus and Bernie Mac.

When Shadowheart isn’t on stage discussing life, religion, and ice cream cones, he can be seen in his own documentary, Enough Stones. He has opened for the likes of Russell Peters, Scott Henry and Heywood Banks.

Headlining the December comedy show is Bogos, who grew up on the streets of South Philadelphia, which is where the roots of his comedic charm originated. His brand of comedy looks at the very simple things in life but from a slightly cockeyed point of view. Still a card-carrying member of the Psychedelic 1960s, he finds himself four marriages and three divorces later on the other side of the generation gap. Bogos’ wit and experience from the 1960s and 1970s has landed him gigs from coast to coast and even in the Marvel blockbuster “The Avengers.” Bogos can be heard daily on Sirius/XM “Raw Dog Comedy.”

Love, a native of

Jamestown, will return to host his third Wits-N-Giggles show.

Love has performed comedy for audiences from Western New York all the way to the Finger Lakes region of New York.

Wits ‘n Giggles is held in the Jamestown Mattress Arena Club located on the top floor of the Northwest Arena.

Tickets for the event are $10 pre-sale, $12 the day of show and $5 for students. Those attending must be 18 years of age or older.
