Holiday Pops Concert To Be Held Dec. 5

The Jamestown Concert Association presents the third concert in its 2018-19 concert series of Dedicated to Great Music on Wednesday, Dec.5th, when the Western New York Chamber Orchestra performs a Poinsettia Pops concert at 7:30 PM. Glen Cortese, artistic director, conducts the orchestra on the elegant stage of the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts for our annual evening of light classics and holiday favorites featuring the vocal soloists mezzo-soprano Kaitlyn Krall and soprano Lisa Layman. Other exciting features include selections from Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite” and the beloved “Sleigh Ride.”

During its 30-year history of excellence WNYCO has been a cultural highlight of Chautauqua County. Don’t miss this popular Jamestown December tradition that celebrates the warmth and spirit of the season. Lobby doors open at 6:30 p.m. for pre-concert refreshments and merriment Reg Lenna Center lobby.
