Chautauqua Theatre Company To Present ‘As You Like It’ At The Bandshell Tonight
The City Summer Bandshell Performance series will feature a production of William Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” as directed by Chautauqua Theatre Company Artistic Director Andrew Borba at 7 p.m. on Thursday. The production is part of Chautauqua Theatre Company’s Free Will: Chautauqua Shakespeare in the Park. The free performance series is held at the Goranson Bandshell in Allen Park.

Artistic and musical events have been held annually in Allen Park since the 1950s.
In addition to funding provided annually by the City of Jamestown, these performances are made available free to the public through the support of the following: Allen Park Women’s Club, Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, Chautauqua Theater Company, Fessenden, Laumer & DeAngelo; Lind Funeral Home, Local 134, American Federation of Musicians; Scandinavian Studies Program, Salon 1, The Resource Center, The United Arts Appeal of Chautauqua County Projects Pool Grant Program and UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital.
As in previous years, members of the Allen Park Women’s Club will continue in their tradition of providing coffee, fudge and other baked goods during all of the concerts.
All concerts are free to the public. Everyone is urged to bring their lawn chairs, blankets or park their vehicles close by to listen to the music from the comfort of their car.
