Stanley and Suzanne Peterson of Lakewood, N.Y., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 11, 2020, with a family dinner. Peterson and the former Suzanne Wilcox were married on June 11,1960, in the Pilgrim Memorial Congregational Church.

They are the parents of Scott (Caroleen) Peterson of Falconer, N.Y., and Susan (Steve) Chipman of Falconer, N.Y. They have two grandchildren: Christian and Courtnee Peterson of Falconer, NY.

Mr. Peterson is a retired traffic manager and plant superintendent from Watson Mfg. and Carter Metal. Peterson and his business partner closed their Christmas Tree business Classic Tree Farms in 2017 at the age of 80. Peterson continues to own and operate with his family, Classic Wreaths, a wholesale Christmas Wreath business.

Mrs. Peterson is a retired registered nurse from Lutheran Social Services and continued to work part-time in various nursing positions until the age of 76. Stan and Sue reside in their home of 55 years in Lakewood with their dog Molly.
