Richard and Susan Wright of Jamestown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 10, 2020. Wright and the former M. Susan Axelson were married on Dec. 10, 1960, in the Fluvanna Community Church.

They are the parents of Kevin (Nina) Wright of Lancaster, N.Y., and Shawn (Lisa) Wright of Jackson, Ky. They also have three grandchildren: Brandon Wright of Greenbelt, Md.; Josiah and Joanna Wright of Jackson, Ky.

Mr. Wright is a retired service investigator from National Fuel, and a former part-time Ellicott police officer. Mrs. Wright is a retired registered surgical nurse from WCA Hospital.
