The COVID-19 pandemic did not stop Tom and Beverly Smith from celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary on June 14 from their front lawn.

A parade of 48 cars, bikes and tractors, led by the Panama Fire Company, surprised the Smiths with honking horns and posters as they drove through the driveway.

Many family, friends, North Clymer United Methodist Church members and the Harmony-Panama Senior Citizens were among the well wishers.
