Wayne and Cheryl Gustafson of Lakewood, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 27, 2019. They have three children: Paul (Jamie) Gustafson of Lakewood, N.Y., Kristin (Shawn) Fileger of Jamestown, N.Y., and Andrea (Cameron Christiansen) Lawrence of Holly Springs, N.C. They also have six grandchildren: Maddie and Molly Gustafson of Lakewood, N.Y., Drew, Ryan and Nathan Fileger of Jamestown, N.Y., and Aubree Lawrence of Holly Springs, N.C.

Gustafson and the former Cheryl Lee Anderson were married Sept. 27, 1969 in Stockton, N.Y. Gustafson is retired from Jamestown Industrial Trucks, having worked 40 years in the trucking industry. Mrs. Gustafson was a dental assistant and office manager. She had worked for the late Dr. Lawrence D. Carlson in Jamestown for 40 plus years before retiring from the office of Dr. Michael Johnson.
