Timothy Gonzalez, 40, Jamestown, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, having an outstanding warrant and second-degree criminal contempt. At about 11:24 a.m. July 2, Jamestown Police officers responded to a complaint of a lost child on the East side of the city. Unrelenting heat is again affecting the New York state grid. On Thursday afternoon, the New York Independent System Operator issued an Energy Watch due to a decline in operating reserves. The grid is operating normally at this time and there are adequate resources to meet forecasted demand.
