Tomlinson Climbs To No. 1 At 99 Pounds
Maple Grove eighth-grader Luke Tomlinson is the new No. 1 wrestler at 99 pounds according to Week 5 of the Wrestling Review of Western New York.
Tomlinson was listed at honorable mention a week ago.
Senior teammate Shane Hetrick will spend his fifth straight week at No. 1 at 120 pounds while another Red Dragons senior, Zak Trim, remains No. 1 at 182 pounds.
Fredonia senior Hector Colom is No. 1 at 132 pounds while his junior teammate, Giovanni Russo, is the new No. 1 at 138 pounds.
Falconer/Cassadaga Valley senior Dylan Ingrao is still No. 1 at 152 pounds and Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Panama senior Bryce Rowe remains No. 1 at 160 pounds.
Ingrao’s Golden Cougars senior teammate Dan Torres is No. 2 at 160 pounds while their junior teammate Robbie Penhollow is No. 2 at 170 pounds. Southwestern senior Giuseppe Hoose is just behind Trim at No. 2 for the 182-pounders while Falconer/Cassadaga Valley senior Corey Keefe is No. 2 at 195 pounds. Jamestown senior Noah Turzillo is No. 2 at 220 pounds.
Jamestown junior Cody Pool is listed at No. 3 for 113 pounds and Fredonia sophomore Dalton Gardner is No. 3 for 126-pounders. Cattaraugus-Little Valley junior Sam Grey is No. 3 at 145 pounds.
