CLYMER -- Nate Brawdy and Ture Hassler were held to nine points combined in the first half of Tuesday's non-league game at Clymer.
The Gowanda duo came alive in the second half and helped the Panthers beat the Pirates, 62-47.
Brawdy scored 8 points during Gowanda's 19-8 third quarter and Hassler added 9 during the Panthers' 18-14 fourth quarter.
"We did a really nice job in the first half," Clymer coach Dan White said. "Then we came out and we missed some easy shots. They made theirs."
Hassler finished with 17 points, 12 rebounds and four assists; Brawdy had 16 points, 12 rebounds and five assists; and Matias Rikka had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Gowanda (10-3).
Dustin Neckers led Clymer (6-8) with 11 points and four assists; Gerrit Hinsdale had 10 points; and Jordan Wade had 8 points, seven rebounds and three steals.

RAMSEY LEADS SHERMAN
SINCLAIRVILLE -- Sherman picked up a 52-42 CCAA Division 2 West win over Cassadaga Valley on Tuesday night behind 19 points and three steals from Tanner Ramsey.
The Wildcats (10-5, 6-0) also had Jared Gleason chip in 12 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Connor Crabtree led the way for the Cougars (5-8, 2-5) with 15 points while David Peterson added six points and five assists in defeat.
