GRAND ISLAND -- Jamestown High School and Chautauqua-Westfield-Panama both went 4-1 at the Grand Island Duals over the weekend.
Jamestown defeated Lewiston-Porter, 63-9; Frontier, 49-33; Fredonia, 45-42; and Wilson, 54-30. The Red Raiders' lone setback was to Grand Island, 47-28.
Meanwhile, Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Panama beat East Aurora, 50-28; Lake Shore, 56-21; Frontier, 52-27; and Orchard Park, 51-36, but also lost to Grand Island (42-36).
Cody Pool (113 pounds), Dylan Pool (126), Seth MacTavish (145) and Noah Turzillo (220) all posted 5-0 records.
Nick Evan, Derrick Howser and Manhattan King had 4-1 marks, while Taylor Crofoot went 3-1.
Austin Bourgeois (132), Ben Szymanowski (220), Derek Ecklund (152), Bryce Rowe (160) and Brendan Rowe 120) were 5-0 for Chautauqua/Westfield/Panama. Trey Hoyt (138) and Brendan Ramsey (126) were 4-1.
