JBC Golf Tourney Proceeds Benefit Children’s Safety Village

The 14th annual Jamestown Bowling Company Golf Tournament was held at Blueberry Hill Golf Club with a field of 124 golfers. A total of $4,114 was raised for the Children’s Safety Village. Following are the flight winners: Jeff Wadsworth, Bill Wassman, Jordan Cessna and Bill Burk, First Flight; Dale Melquist, Sue Melquist, Todd Melquist and Leslie Melquist, Second Flight; Doug Volpe, Jeff Johnson, Jeff Leavens and Andy Chase, Third Flight. Special event winners were John Damond, men’s longest drive; Alan Felmlee and Roberto Pantojas, men’s closest to the pin; Leslie Melquist, women’s longest drive; and Thomi White and Mel Johnson, women’s closest to the pin. Jim Rissel won the putting contest. The 15th annual tournament will be held at Blueberry Hill GC the last Sunday of August 2018 with all proceeds to benefit the Jamestown Area USBC.
