JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

¯ Bless M. Grant, 25, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana. An 18-year-old was charged with unnecessary noice. Officers responded Thursday at 1 a.m. to a home on West Eighth Street to investigate a 911 call. While on scene, an 18-year-old female became disorderly by yelling loudly at officers and other people in the area causing a scene. During an investigation, Grant also started yelling at officers and was advised to stay back from the scene. Grant approached officers from behind, reportedly preventing officers from performing their duties. The pair was transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

¯ DUNKIRK — Rodney G. Clyburn, 38, of Dunkirk was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt. Deputies responded at 6:53 p.m. Monday to a residence in Dunkirk for a trespassing complaint. Clyburn was detained at the residence when deputies arrived. It was learned that Clyburn was violating an order of protection. He was arraigned in Dunkirk Town Court and released to the supervision of probation. He is scheduled to appear back in court at a later date to answer the charges.
