Randolph Man Found Dead In Sinclairville Vehicle Fire

A Randolph man was found dead in a vehicle fire in the village of Sinclairville on Tuesday, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said.

The fire was fire reported around 9:10 a.m. on Mill Creek Road by a passing motorist who called 911. Members of the Sinclairville Fire Department doused the blaze.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team responded to the scene. The driver of the vehicle, 65-year-old Charles Troutman, was the sole occupant and declared dead.

The fire is still under investigation, the Sheriff’s Office said in a press release. The incident is not being consider suspicious.
