Two Jamestown residents landed in jail Thursday night after a booze-filled domestic dispute in front of two children.

At about 10:30 p.m., Jamestown police responded to 406 E. Fourth St. for a reported domestic dispute. Inside, they found Erik V. Morrison, 29, allegedly assaulting 23-year-old Theresa M. Marsh.

Two children, ages 4 and 7, were reportedly witnessing the incident.

Morrison, who was allegedly intoxicated, was taken into custody. Marsh, also allegedly intoxicated, became combative with police and attempted to push them out of the apartment.

Officers later located a loaded pistol in the residence within reach of the children.
