YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. -- A Youngsville, Pa., man was charged with endangering the welfare of children after accidentally shooting himself in the leg at his residence Tuesday evening.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, Victor Michael Battko III accidentally discharged a small caliber firearm during a verbal, non-physical argument at his residence on Homestead Drive in Youngsville.
Police say Battko, while involved in the argument, retrieved the firearm and began pacing around the residence when it discharged while behind his back. He was taken to an Erie, Pa., hospital for treatment.
