Power Restored To Businesses In Falconer

FALCONER -- Power has been restored after a Jamestown Board of Public Utilities electric transformer failed on Dow and Allen streets in the village of Falconer on Wednesday.

Rebecca Robbins, BPU communications coordinator, said the transformer failed around 9:45 a.m. She said power had been cut to mostly industrial and commercial locations in Falconer, including SKF Group, Truck-Lite, Jones Carroll, Kingsview Paving & Excavating and the Falconer Trailer Court.

BPU crews worked Wednesday morning to restore power.
