Semi Fire Slows Traffic On Interstate 90
Traffic was slowed this morning in the westbound lane of Interstate 90 in Dunkirk when a fire broke out in the cab of a semi tractor-trailer.
The mishap occurred at exit 59 on the interstate. The fire was reported around 7:45 a.m.
Firefighters from Fredonia, East Dunkirk and Irving responded.
A tow truck was summoned to move the damaged cab. A portion of the right lane was closed to traffic.
As of 10:30 a.m., the semi was still parked on the shoulder of the interstate.
